A vertical lifting column. The vertical lifting column comprises a power mechanism (1), as well as an inner pipe assembly (3) and an outer pipe assembly (6) which are connected in a nested manner; the inner pipe assembly (3) comprises an inner pipe (32) and a box portion (31) fixed at one end of the inner pipe (32); the power mechanism (1) is arranged in the box portion (31); a circular pipe (4) and a lead screw assembly (5) are arranged in the inner pipe assembly (3); the power mechanism (1) drives the circular pipe (4) by means of a connecting assembly (2); the lead screw assembly (5) comprises a lead screw (51) and a lead screw nut (53) sleeved on the lead screw (51); the lead screw nut (53) is connected to the circular pipe (4) and the inner pipe (32); the lead screw (51) is in threadedly fits with the lead screw nut (53); one end of the lead screw (51) extends into the circular pipe (4), and the other end thereof is fixed to the outer pipe assembly (6); the lead screw assembly (5) further comprises a box body; the box body is fixedly connected to the other end of the inner pipe (32); and the lead screw nut (53) is partially or entirely wrapped in the box body.
