Abstract:

A vertical machining center (10) is provided with a partitioning door (36), opening and closing freely, for partitioning a working area (12) and a setup area (42), and an access cover (90) for opening and closing the setup area (42). An end of an oil pan (70) is provided with a cutout portion (72), and a region of space facing the cutout portion (72) is part of a worker area that a worker can access when the access cover (90) is opened and is part of a pallet rotating area of a pallet exchange device (40) when the access cover (90) is closed.
