Abstract:
The present invention relates to an emergency exit device for guiding evacuees to a floor slab through an emergency exit opening formed through a ceiling slab of a building. The emergency exit device comprises: an edge housing coupled to an emergency exit opening; a profile column having a column body having an upper end fixed inside the edge housing and a lower end fixed to the floor slab; a vertically-moving evacuation portion coupled to the profile column to allow moving vertically, moving vertically between the inside of the edge housing and the floor slab; and a weight pendulum installed to allow moving vertically along the profile column. The present invention provides a vertical movement-driving assembly for an emergency exit device, comprising: a large winch drum rotatably installed at the upper end of the column body such that the upper end of a first wire, the lower end of which is connected to the vertically-moving evacuation portion, is fixed and wound around same; a small winch drum rotatably installed on the column body below the large winch drum such that the upper end of a second wire, the lower end of which is connected to the weight pendulum, is fixed and unwound around same; a driving gear shaft-coupled to one side of the large winch drum and rotating in the same direction as the direction of rotation of the large winch drum; a driven gear shaft-coupled to one side of the small winch drum so as to mesh with the driving gear and rotate in the opposite direction to the direction of rotation of the driving gear, thereby causing the small winch drum to rotate in the opposite direction to the large winch drum such that, when the first wire of the large winch drum is unwound, the second wire of the small winch drum is wound and, when the first wire of the large winch drum is wound, the second wire of the small winch drum is unwound; and a centrifugal brake shaft-coupled to one side of the large winch drum and reducing speed when the rotational speed of the large winch drum increases to prevent the rotational speed of the large winch drum from increasing excessively.
