Abstract:
A vertical parking method and apparatus with a tandem space-clearing function. A ground-level car carrier platform (9) can move in a forward or backward L-shaped trajectory on the ground plane. An upper-deck car carrier platform (4) can move outward in a three-dimensional L-shaped trajectory. The three L-shaped trajectories of the ground-level car carrier platform (9) and the upper-deck car carrier platform (4) can be combined to enable convenient car parking and retrieval for an upper-deck parking space without the need to drive a car parked on the ground-level car carrier platform (9). The present invention has a practical and smart structural design, is applicable to a wide range of scenarios, and is particularly suitable for a road-side parking space in an old housing development, an underground parking lot, small, limited, and corner parking spaces, etc. A row arrangement can also be adopted to realize dense parking.
