Abstract:
A vertical parking method, comprising: step I, when coordinate information of a preset position of a vehicle close to a first vehicle angle is located on an initial reference line or located on the side of the initial reference line close to an initial vertical parking space, and when an obstacle is detected by an ultrasonic sensor at the first vehicle angle, positioning the obstacle, and executing step II; step II, calculating coordinate information of point O of the obstacle most possibly making contact with the vehicle, and calculating coordinate information of an outer boundary of a target vertical parking space according to the point O, the first vehicle angle, and coordinate information of an outer boundary of the initial vertical parking space; and step III, continuing automatic or semi-automatic parking according to the coordinate information of the outer boundary of the target vertical parking space. According to the vertical parking method of the present invention, an evaluation error of an original parking space can be eliminated, and the accuracy for a vehicle to be parked into a parking space is improved.
