Abstract:
A vertical roller mill (10) has, housed within a casing (11), a cyclone-type fixed classifier (20) provided with: a conical member (21) positioned below a pointed part; a fixed-blade entrance window (22) that opens to the conical member (21) and introduces gas-particle flow into the interior of the conical member (21); a plate-shaped fixed-blade (23A) which is inside the conical member (21) and mounted near the fixed-blade entrance window (22), and which applies rotational movement to the gas-particle flow; an inner cylinder (24) provided along the center axis of the conical member (21) and in which pulverized coal is pushed from a lower section to an upper section by the rotational movement of the gas-particle flow; and a pulverized coal exit (16) for expelling the pulverized coal, which has been pushed to the upper section of the inner cylinder (24), from the conical member (21). Furthermore, the edge section (23b) of the fixed-blade (23A) in the vertical roller mill (10) is bent in a manner such that the gas-particle flow pushed from the fixed-blade entrance window (22) to the interior of the conical member (21) increases in a downward direction. This configuration makes it possible to reduce the coarse particle ratio in a pulverized coal product.
