Abstract:
A vertical shaft driving device wherein a plurality of rotary blades (8a, 8b, 8c, 8d) each consisting of a blade (10) supported on a planetary shaft are equally arranged circumferentially of a central shaft (12) and capable of orbital motion integrally with the central shaft (12), in which vertical shaft driving device, the rotary blades are arranged in a multi-point intersection form with the surfaces of the blades (10) disposed obliquely with respect to the radial direction with the center at the central shaft (12). Arranging the blades (10) in a multi-point intersection form makes it possible to provide a vertical shaft driving device wherein air currents or water currents are efficiently utilized to obtain a large output.
