Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vertical shaft impeller blade propulsion apparatus for an electric propulsion vessel which uses an impeller blade having a vertical rotary shaft and can completely isolate a bearing used in the rotary shaft from seawater. The vertical shaft impeller blade propulsion apparatus for an electric propulsion vessel comprises: a water flow casing having an inlet port and an outlet port formed therein; at least one impeller motor positioned on top of the water flow casing; a vertical rotary shaft connected vertically to a lower portion of the at least one impeller motor so as to be rotated; an impeller blade attached to an outer circumferential surface of the vertical rotary shaft; a bearing box connected to a lower portion of the vertical rotary shaft and rotating together along with the vertical rotary shaft and having a bearing space with an open lower portion thereinside; a fixed vertical shaft fixed to the bottom of the water flow casing and inserted into the bearing space of the bearing box through the bottom the bearing box; and a bearing positioned between the bearing box and the fixed vertical shaft.
