Abstract:
A vertical steam electric iron comprising a main body (1), an iron base (2) connected to a lower side of the main body (1), and a handle (3) connected to an upper side of the main body (1). A water container (4) is provided in the main body (1). A vaporization chamber (21) is provided at an inside portion of the iron base (2). One end of the vaporization chamber (21) communicates with an air outlet (22) formed on a front side of the bottom surface of the iron base (2), and the other end of the vaporization chamber (21) communicates with a water outlet (41) formed on a rear side of the water container (4). A drive assembly (5) is mounted on the main body (1). The drive assembly (5) extends into the water container (4), and is drivingly connected to a pulling plate (6). The pulling plate (6) is also drivingly connected to a water stopper (7). The drive assembly (5) can be driven to push the pulling plate (6) to move, and therefore the pulling plate (6) drives the water stopper (7) to move, such that the water stopper (7) seals the water outlet (41) or moves away from the water outlet (41). A user can operate the drive assembly (5) to move the water stopper (7) away from the water outlet (41) of the water container (4), such that water in the water container (4) enters the vaporization chamber (21), and flows along the vaporization chamber (21) from the back to the front. Since the vaporization chamber (21) is significantly longer than existing vaporization chambers, water is completely transformed into steam in the vaporization chamber (21), before being discharged by means of the air outlet (22).
