Abstract:
A vertical take-off and landing aircraft equipped with: an airframe main section; a frame which defines a quadrant center inside the airframe main section in a planar pattern, and supports the airframe main section so as to generate independent lift in the same direction in each quadrant among the first through fourth quadrants positioned around the quadrant center; first propellers provided via a rotating shaft provided in the frame in each of the first through fourth quadrants; and a second propeller which rotates in the same direction as does the first propeller and is provided in the first quadrant via a rotating shaft provided in the frame. Furthermore, the direction of rotation in the first and third quadrants is the opposite direction from the direction of rotation in the second and fourth quadrants.
