Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for processing a vertically grown electroform by using a vertical growth master that enables vertical growth of deposits, and an electroform manufactured thereby. Protrusions and spaces are formed on the upper surface of the vertical growth master of the present invention. A non-conductive material is filled in, coated on, or applied to the spaces. A plating electrolyte is held in the spaces in which the non-conductive material is filled, coated or applied, to thus form stagnant regions. The present invention is characterized in that the non-conductive material is filled, coated, or applied in the spaces to form the stagnant regions in the spaces. When electroforming is carried out by using the vertical growth master of the present invention, an electroform has almost no horizontal growth but instead grows vertically. As the electroform grows vertically, the stagnant regions also rise upward.
