Abstract:
The invention relates to a vertically- and horizontally-adjustable mobile wash basin (6) which can be used by persons in wheelchairs. For the purpose of vertical movement, the invention comprises rear wheels which move on rails (9) that are fixed to the wall and a lifting belt (3) which is actuated by an electric motor (5). Other embodiments of the invention comprise pulleys and counterweights, racks, gear wheels, screws, springs, pneumatic or hydraulic pumps and a hand control device.
