Abstract:
Provided is a vibrating device capable of advantageously removing water droplets and the like adhered to a cover or a lens, without imparting a large load on a piezoelectric vibrator. This vibrating device 2 is used in a camera body that includes a lens 9. The vibrating device comprises: a tubular vibrating body portion 12 provided with a piezoelectric vibrator 15; a tubular mode-converting coupling portion 21 coupled to one end of the tubular vibrating body portion 12; and a translucent body portion 22 joined to the mode-converting coupling portion 21. The translucent body portion 22 includes a translucent part disposed in front of the lens 9. The mode-converting coupling portion 21 includes a thin-walled portion having a thickness that is less than that of the tubular vibrating body portion 12.
