Abstract:
Provided is a vibration absorber provided in an annular space for accommodating a damper spring, wherein when a first plate (14) connected to a drive source (E) and a second plate (16) connected to a transmission (T) relatively rotate while elastically deforming a spring (22) in correspondence with the rotational fluctuation of the drive source (E): an arm part (18a) extending radially outward from a driven plate (18) oscillates within an annular space (20); grease sealed in the annular space (20) is compressed by the arm part (18a) and forced radially inward, but is guided along the circumferential direction by a flow-regulating protrusion (18b) that is provided to either one of the driven plate (18) and a seal plate (17), the flow-regulating protrusion (18b) protruding toward the other of the two plates; and the grease is prevented from collecting in part of a sealing member (23) that is provided to the inner periphery of the seal plate (17) and that closes off the annular space (20). This makes it possible to prevent grease leakage from the sealing member (23) without the need for a special shielding plate.
