Abstract:
A vibration absorbing pipe of high durability and long life excelling in vibration absorptivity which can be fitted to the middle of high-pressure fluid piping, such as CO2 refrigerant circuit, even in form curved with a certain degree of R. In particular, vibration absorbing pipe (1) comprising bellows (2) of a thin metal formed into concertinas and, covering the bellows (2), fiber reinforcement layer (4), wherein the peripheral surface of bellows (2) is coated (filled) with rubber (3) as a cushion to a height corresponding to 0.5 to 2.0 times the height (H) of bellows crest measured from the bottom of cone-shaped hollow of the bellows (2) and wherein the braiding angle of the fiber reinforcement layer (4) is set for 30 to 50°, preferably 35 to 45°. The fiber reinforcement layer (4) may be impregnated with a resin or rubber and solidified.
