Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a vibration actuator that makes it less likely for the state in which a cantilever-like elastic support member is supported by a fixed body to become unstable. [Solution] A vibration actuator comprising: a cantilever-like elastic support member 25 of which one end, a fixed end 26A is fixed to a fixed body; and a movable body 55 that is fixed to a movable body support part 45 formed on the elastic support member, that has the other of a coil and an a magnetic-circuit-constituting member, and that vibrates in a predetermined direction while causing the elastic support member to bend when a current is flowed to the coil, high-rigidity parts 31, 34, 37, 40 being formed at portions located between the fixed end of the elastic support member and the movable body support part, and the bending rigidity of the high-rigidity parts being higher than the bending rigidity of the parts surrounding the high-rigidity parts.
