Abstract:
Provided is a vibration actuator that enables production of a suspension having appropriate internal loss, that is low in cost, and that exhibits excellent vibration characteristics. The vibration actuator comprises: a case 2; a coil 3 installed in the case 2; and a movable element 4 that vibrates along a vibration axis O of the case 2. The present invention comprises a suspension 5 an outer circumferential section 51 of which is fixed to the case 2, and an inner circumferential section 52 of which is fixed to the movable element 4. The suspension reciprocally supports the movable element 4 in the direction of the vibration axis O. The suspension 5 has a deformation region 34 in a radial direction of the movable element 4. A circular protrusion 53a and/or a circular recess 53b are provided in the deformation region 34 and are centered on the vibration axis O of the movable element 4.
