Abstract:
A vibration control wall 1 comprises: a box body 12 that includes a pair of narrow-width side wall panels 4, 5, a pair of wide-width side wall panels 6, 7, and a base wall panel 8 that is anchored to the pair of narrow-width side panels 4, 5 and the pair of wide-width side wall panels 6, 7 by welding, and that is secured, via a lower securing means 11, to a lower support means 2 by the base wall panel 8 and lower sections 9,10 of the pair of narrow-width side panels 4, 5 that are located below the base wall panel 8; a resistance panel 16 that is disposed within the box body 12 and is secured to the upper support means 3 via an upper securing means 15; and a viscous body 17 with which a gap 14 in the box body 12 is filled.
