Provided is a vibration damper: that enables a spring constant in the axial direction to be increased while reducing a spring constant in the torsional direction and a spring constant in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction; and that enables movement to be suppressed in a direction in which surfaces dividing first outer cylinders and second outer cylinders, which are divided into two parts, are brought close together. With spaces (SP) formed between the dividing surfaces of first rubber parts (431) and second rubber parts (432), the spring constant in the torsional direction and the spring constant in the direction perpendicular to the axis (O) can be reduced while increasing the spring constant in the direction of the axis (O). In this case, an interposed member (450) is disposed between the dividing surfaces of the first outer cylinders (421) and second outer cylinders (422). Thus, movement can be controlled in the direction in which the dividing surfaces of the first outer cylinders (421) and second outer cylinders (422) are brought close together, while maintaining the spaces (SP) between the first rubber parts (431) and the second rubber parts (432).
