Abstract:
A vibration damping device (10) is provided with a tube-like first mounting member (11), a tube-like second mounting member (12), an annular first elastic body (13), and an annular second elastic body (14). A liquid chamber (19) is formed between both the elastic bodies. Elastic partition walls (25) for partitioning the liquid chamber (19) into pressure receiving liquid chambers are disposed between both the elastic bodies. The elastic partition walls (25) are connected to the first elastic body (13) and are in contact with the second elastic body (14). The second mounting member (12) is divided into a first divided body (26) to which the inner peripheral edge of the first elastic body (13) is connected and into a second divided body (27) to which the inner peripheral edge of the second elastic body (14) is connected. The inner peripheral edges of both the elastic bodies are adjacent to each other in the direction of the axis (O). The first divided body (26) is provided with restriction sections (26a) to which the inner peripheral edge of the first elastic body (13) is connected from the outside in the radial direction, the restriction sections (26a) being disposed so as to overlap, in the direction of the axis (O), the radially inner ends of the elastic partition walls (25) and sandwiching the radially inner ends of the elastic partition walls (25) between the restriction sections (26a) and the outer peripheral edge of the second elastic body (14).
