Abstract:
A vibration-damping device (10) that comprises a first mounting member (11), a second mounting member (12), an elastic body (13), and a partitioning member (16). Restriction passages (31, 32) are formed in the partitioning member (16). The restriction passages (31, 32) comprise a first restriction passage (31) and a second restriction passage (32). The inner peripheral surface of the first restriction passage (31) is provided with flow-altering protrusions (33, 34) that protrude toward the inside in the radial direction of the first restriction passage (31) and that alter the flow of a liquid (L) that flows through the inside of the first restriction passage (31) in the axial direction of the first restriction passage (31). Seen in a vertical cross-section that passes through an axis line of the first restriction passage (31) and through the flow-altering protrusions (33, 34), the first restriction passage (31) and the flow-altering protrusions (33, 34) are symmetrical with respect to the axis line. Tip parts of the flow-altering protrusions (33, 34) form inner peripheral edge parts of through holes (33c, 34c) that open toward both axial direction sides.
