Abstract:

A vibration-damping device (10) that comprises a first mounting member (11), a second mounting member (12), a flexible body, and a partitioning member (16). A restriction passage (30) that connects a main liquid chamber (14) and an auxiliary liquid chamber (15) is formed in the partitioning member (16). The inner peripheral surface of the restriction passage (30) is provided with a flow-altering protrusion (31) that protrudes toward the inside in the radial direction of the restriction passage (30) and that alters the flow of a liquid (L) that flows into the restriction passage (30) from the main liquid chamber (14) and flows through the restriction passage (30) in the axial direction of the restriction passage (30). Seen in a vertical cross-section that passes through an axis line of the restriction passage (30) and through the flow-altering protrusion (31), the restriction passage (30) and the flow-altering protrusion (31) are symmetrical with respect to the axis line. A tip of the flow-altering protrusion (31) forms an inner peripheral edge part of a through hole (31c) that opens toward both axial direction sides.
