Abstract:

This vibration damping device includes a partition member (16) having formed therein: an orifice passage (24) which connects a primary liquid chamber (14) and a secondary liquid chamber (15); a plurality of first communication holes (42a) which connect the primary liquid chamber and a containing chamber (42); and a second communication hole (42b) which connects the secondary liquid chamber and the containing chamber. In the partition member, a hollow cylindrical member (21) which protrudes in an axial direction toward an elastic body is disposed on a first wall surface (16b) to which the first communication holes are open and which constitutes part of the inner surface of the primary liquid chamber. The plurality of first communication holes are open to both the inner portion (16f) of the first wall surface, which is located inside the hollow cylindrical member, and the outer portion (16g) of the first wall surface, which is located outside the hollow cylindrical member.
