Title:
VIBRATION DAMPING MECHANISM FOR ROTATING SHAFT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/039817
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A vibration damping mechanism for a rotating shaft, capable of being laid out with reduced restriction and capable of exhibiting damping performance by a frictional contact section without variation in a stable manner for a long period. A vibration damping mechanism for a rotating shaft is provided with the shaft (11) for outputting, from an output-side end section (11b), torque inputted into an input-side end section (11a), and also with a damping member (20) having a fixed section (21) fixed to the shaft (11) and also having a frictional contact section (22) making frictional contact with the rotating shaft (11). The vibration damping mechanism is provided also with a fastening band (25) for pressing the frictional contact section (22) to the shaft (11) so that the frictional contact section (22) is in contact with the rotating shaft (11) at a predetermined contact pressure.
