A vibration-damping rubber member (3R) comprising: a rubber elastomer (32R) which is constituted of a self-lubricating rubber that comprises an elastomer (321R) and a bleeding lubricant (322R); a coating film (33R) with which at least some of the sliding inner surface in the surface of the rubber elastomer (32R) that is disposed inside a sliding surface is covered and which comprises a resin (330R) having mercapto groups and a solid lubricant comprising polytetrafluoroethylene particles (335R) and ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene particles (336R) and is capable of deforming in conformity with deformation of the rubber elastomer (32R); and a lubricating film (34R) with which at least some of the surface of the coating film (33R) is covered and which contains the bleeding lubricant (322R) that has passed from the rubber elastomer (32R) through the coating film (33R) and has oozed out on the surface of the coating film (33R), the lubricating film (34R) constituting at least some of the sliding surface.
