Abstract:
A vibration device (1) is provided with a vibrating plate (10), a piezoelectric element (20), and a wiring member (30). The vibrating plate has electrical conductivity. The piezoelectric element is disposed on the vibrating plate. The wiring member is disposed opposite the vibrating plate with the piezoelectric element therebetween. The piezoelectric element includes a piezoelectric element body (21), a first external electrode (22), and a second external electrode (23). The piezoelectric element body has a first major surface (21a) and a second major surface (21b) opposing each other in a direction in which the vibrating plate and the wiring member oppose each other. The first external electrode is disposed on the first major surface and is electrically connected to the vibrating plate. The second external electrode is disposed on the second major surface and is electrically connected to the wiring member. The vibrating plate protrudes on the wiring member side, and includes a first projecting portion (11) electrically connected to the wiring member.
