This vibration device is provided with a vibration unit having a piezoelectric element, and a wiring member electrically connected to the piezoelectric element. The piezoelectric element has a piezoelectric element body, an internal electrode arranged inside of the piezoelectric element body, and an external electrode electrically connected to the internal electrode. The piezoelectric element has a first principle surface and a second principle surface which are opposite of each other, and a side surface which is adjacent to the first principle surface and the second principle surface and which extends in the direction of opposition between the first principle surface and the second principle surface. The external electrode is arranged on the first principle surface. The wiring member has a first region which is positioned on the external electrode and which is joined to the external electrode, a second region which is joined to the first principle surface, and a third region which is positioned between the first region and the second region and which is separated from the first principle surface.
