Abstract:
Provided is a vibration device capable of efficiently removing water droplets or the like. This vibration device 1 is provided with: a cylindrical vibration body 3 having first and second open end sections 3a, 3b, an outer side surface 3c, and an inner side surface 3d; a translucent body 8 connected to the second open end section 3b of the vibration body 3; and a piezoelectric vibrator 7 disposed on the vibration body 3. The vibration body has a flange section extending outward from the outer side surface 3c of the vibration body. The vibration body is further provided with a drive circuit 12 for vibrating the connected body of the translucent body 8 and the vibration body 3 either in a vibration mode in which the translucent body vibrates or in a vibration mode in which the flange section vibrates, and alternately switching between the vibration mode in which the translucent body vibrates and the vibration mode in which the flange section vibrates.
