Abstract:
Provided is a vibration generator which can more safely perform a vibration test and which does not damage an object being tested.
A vibration generator (100) has a pair of limit switches (15, 15) provided to a guide support (2). One of the limit switches (15, 15) is provided at the lower limit position (LL) of a weight (4), and the other of the limit switches (15, 15) is provided at the upper limit position (UL) of the weight (4). The weight (4) is provided with a section (16) to be detected. When the weight (4) reaches the lower limit position (LL), the section (16) to be detected makes contact with the limit switch (15) and when the weight (4) reaches the upper limit position (UL), the section (16) to be detected makes contact with the limit switch (15). In this embodiment, the section (16) to be detected is provided at the center of the weight (4) in the direction of the height thereof. This means that the single section (16) to be detected makes contact with both the lower limit position (LL) and the upper limit position (UL).
