A vibration isolating device constructed to have a stopper function in a vertical direction and in a direction at right angles with the axis and capable of preventing water from entering the upper surface of a flange to collect thereon and allowing pattern draw in an axial direction. A vibration isolating device comprising a cylindrical stopper metal fitting (9) extending outwardly of a vibration isolating base (3) and upwardly of a flange (2a) and fixed to a main body metal fitting (1), the upper end of the stopper metal fitting (9) being inwardly bent to be positioned above the flange (2a), a stopper rubber (10) installed on the upper surface and outer periphery of the flange (2a), the flange (2a) being adapted to abut against the stopper metal fitting (9) through the stopper rubber (10) on a large amount of displacement of an upper side attaching metal fitting (2), and a draining notched groove (11) extending from the upper surface to the outer periphery, particularly a notched groove having a depth approximately equal to or somewhat less than the rubber thickness of the stopper rubber (10), formed in at least one place around the periphery of the stopper rubber (10).
