Title:
VIBRATION-POWERED GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/140959
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention makes a vibration-powered generator more compact and expands, relative to existing vibration-powered generators, the range of frequencies over which a desired generating efficiency can be obtained. This vibration-powered generator contains the following: a permanent magnet that can vibrate axially within a frame; a coil laid out in a fixed manner within said frame, which faces the outside of the permanent magnet; two spring mechanisms provided on the axial ends of the permanent magnet via a guide rod; and a magnetic bearing that allows the guide rod to slide axially. The aforementioned vibration-powered generator is provided, in the axial direction, with a plurality of movable units each comprising a permanent magnet, a guide rod, and a magnetic bearing and further contains a joining spring that joins said movable units in the axial direction via a spring mechanism that can extend and contract. A resonant frequency is individually set for each movable unit via the selection of the respective spring constants of the joining spring and the spring mechanisms.
