Abstract:
This vibration-preventing tool holder (10) has an axis (C) and is rotated about the axis by a main shaft of a processing machine. The vibration-preventing tool holder (10) comprises a substrate (11) that includes a shank part (1) attached to the main shaft and an arbor part (2) for gripping a tool, and at least one vibration attenuator (12) that is disposed inside the shank part (1) and/or the arbor part (2) of the substrate (11). The material constituting the substrate (11) includes a first metal. The material constituting the at least one vibration attenuator (12) includes a second metal different from the first metal. An intermetallic compound layer that includes a compound of the first and second metals is formed at the interface between the substrate (11) and the at least one vibration attenuator (12).
