Abstract:
A vibration suppression device for a vehicle is provided with: a rod (81) with at least one end part which is affixed on a vibration transmission path from an engine (1) to a vehicle body (2); an inertial mass (83) supported on the rod via elastic bodies (82); an actuator (84) which causes the inertial mass to reciprocate in the axial direction of the rod; and a control means (85) for controlling the driving of the actuator, defining vibrations of part of the vibration frequency range of the engine as a vibration suppression control range. The frequency of the resonant mode arising when the inertial mass reciprocates in the axial direction of the rod is set to a vibration frequency other than those in the aforementioned partial vibration frequency range.
