Abstract:
This vibration welding device (10) is a device that vibration welds an airbag (42) holding box (40) and an installment panel (20) having a tear line (66). The vibration welding device (10) is provided with a support jig (82) that carries and affixes the installment panel (20) during vibration welding. The support jig (82) is provided with a groove (96) that permits thermal expansion during vibration welding of the installment panel (20) at a position differing from the tear line (66).
