Abstract:
The present application relates to a video bit rate control method and apparatus, an electronic device and a storage medium. The method comprises: after a k-1th video block is stored in a buffer and before a kth video block is stored in the buffer, acquiring a throughput prediction value of the buffer corresponding to the kth video block and the error range thereof, and acquiring a buffering amount offset x(k) of a video in the buffer and a buffering amount change y(k) of the video in the buffer; calculating a first bit rate change according to the current state of the buffer, the throughput prediction value and a preset evolution model; calculating a second bit rate change according to the current state, the throughput prediction value and the error range thereof; and determining the video bit rate of the kth video block according to the video bit rate of the k-1th video block, the first bit rate change and the second bit rate change. In the embodiments of the present application, the buffering amount may be accurately controlled at the target buffering amount, which is advantageous for live video that has low latency, less lag and a high bit rate.
