Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a video codec using a block-based deep learning model. The present embodiment provides a video codec, which generates, during the processing of video blocks by using a deep learning model, a super block by stacking or packing respective YUV video blocks, and then, inputs the generated super block into the deep learning model, wherein the video blocks are processed differently according to the characteristics of the YUV blocks constituting the super block during convolution inside the deep learning model.
