A video content recommendation method, device, and system. The method comprises: analyzing, by a video content recommendation device, view history data of a user to obtain various personalized preference parameters; organizing and comparing, according to the various personalized preference parameters and personal characteristic information of the user, the view history data of the user to obtain view data grouped according to the personalized preference parameters and the personal characteristic information of the user; processing the grouped view data according to an independent variable matrix representing the view history data, an independent variable matrix representing the personal characteristic information of the user, and a dependent variable matrix representing the grouped view data; acquiring corresponding coefficients on the basis of the processing result and by employing channels corresponding to content of respective videos as independent variables; converting, according to a specific scale, the same into recommendation weight coefficients Wi; and recommending, according to the different weight coefficients Wi, corresponding content of videos. The video content recommendation method, device, and system in the present application enable accurate video content recommendation with respect to various channels.
