Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of encoding and decoding. Disclosed are video data encoding and decoding methods and apparatuses, which can improve transmission flexibility and enhance robustness. An encoding method provided by the present invention comprises: determining a to-be-encoded information group in a to-be-encoded video sequence; generating a basic information group corresponding to the to-be-encoded information group, the basic information group comprising first data information, representing information indicating whether the to-be-encoded information group is a basic information group or a redundant information group and location information of the basic information group; generating a redundant information group corresponding to the to-be-encoded information group, the redundant information group comprising second data information and location information of the redundant information group, representing the information indicating whether the to-be-encoded information group is a basic information group or a redundant information group and information about a location relationship between the redundant information group and the basic information group; and encoding the basic information group and the basic information group into a bitstream.
