Abstract:
The present invention enables appropriate mixing processing even when video data with different video formats are mixed. Output video data is obtained by performing mixing processing, such as dissolves and wipes, on first video data and second video data. Prior to performing the mixing processing, the formats of the first video data and second video data are converted into video formats used in the mixing processing. After the mixing processing is completed, the output video data is converted into an output video format.
