Abstract:
This video data transmission device: separates video data into 1st to Nth pixel data; calculates a prescribed number (N-1) of difference information units on the basis of the separated 1st to Nth pixel data; and performs multilevel amplitude modulation on a multilevel signal level closest to an intermediate level having an intermediate value between a maximum level and a minimum level for the multilevel signal levels for multilevel amplitude modulation signals, such that when the 1st pixel data is allocated to the 1st bit for multilevel amplitude modulation as the 1st transmission data and each difference information unit is allocated to the 2nd to Nth bits for multilevel amplitude modulation as 2nd to Nth transmission data, a prescribed N bits of data correspond. The prescribed N bits of data is data having a prescribed 1st bit value, which has a lower occurrence probability than the occurrence probability of a prescribed 2nd bit value, allocated to the 2nd to Nth bits.
