Abstract:
Disclosed is a video denoising system having contrast adaptation, said system comprising: a frame buffer, used for caching a filter result; an interframe difference feature calculation module, used for calculating an interframe difference feature of a current input frame of a video and a previous filter frame in the frame buffer; a contrast calculation module, used for calculating local contrast of the current input frame. The local contrast is inputted into a low-contrast area detection module, a calculated low-contrast area confidence level and the interframe difference feature are jointly inputted into a motion detection module, and a motion probability of each pixel is calculated. A motion adaptive time-domain filter module uses the current input frame of the video, the previous filter frame input in the frame buffer, and the motion probability of each pixel to perform motion adaptive time-domain filtering, and finally a current filter frame is outputted and stored in the frame buffer. The present system solves the problem in traditional video denoising systems of motion smearing and blurring produced when low-contrast motion videos are processed.
