Abstract:
A video digital rights protection method and system. The method comprises: acquiring a user identifier for requesting to play a video and a video playing identifier, and taking the user identifier as a two-dimensional code generation parameter; generating a two-dimensional code according to the user identifier, wherein the user identifier can be decoded from the two-dimensional code; and superimposing the two-dimensional code on a picture of a played video designated by the video playing identifier. In the video digital rights protection method and system, a two-dimensional code is generated by means of a user identifier, and the two-dimensional code is superimposed on a video picture. When a video is bootlegged, a bootlegging picture may contain the two-dimensional code, and therefore, the user identifier can be easily obtained from the two-dimensional code, so as to ascertain a bootlegging source. The resources required for the encoding and decoding of a two-dimensional code are much less than the resources which have to be consumed by a watermark, and therefore, the costs of bootlegging prevention can be greatly reduced.
