Abstract:
A video display device that acquires, from an external device, video information that includes various signals required to display video, and that displays, on a display screen, video based on the video information, said video display device characterized by being equipped with: an operation reception unit that receives an operation; an extraction unit that, when there is a change in the video information and the operation is received by the operation reception unit, extracts from the various signals a signal for which a change in the signal value after the change in the video information exceeds a threshold value; an identification unit that identifies an adjustment item on the display screen that corresponds to the signal extracted by the extraction unit; and an adjustment unit that adjusts the set value of the adjustment item identified by the identification unit.
