Abstract:
This video distribution device includes: a dividing unit that divides video information corresponding to one screen distributed to each of a plurality of display modules constituting a display into video information corresponding to the number of output lines that is N (N being an integer of one or more) times larger than a line representing pixels for one line of the display module, and outputs video information corresponding to the number of output lines to each of the plurality of display modules; and a distribution processing unit that repeatedly distributes distribution data to the plurality of display modules and thus distributes the video information corresponding to one screen of a display, the distribution data being obtained by multiplexing, for each of the plurality of display modules, video information corresponding to the number of output lines output from the dividing unit, and control information indicating a display module to which video information corresponding to the number of output lines is distributed. Thus, it is possible to reduce the memory requirements for a display controller.
