Abstract:
This video distribution device distributes a town guide video to a user's terminal, and performs, on a specific facility displayed in the guide video, superimposition display of information about the facility. A direct-clickable object is explicitly embedded in the guide video, and a direct interaction with the video is performed to display information such as an advertisement. The video distribution device is provided with a storage unit, a frame image acquisition unit, an object display position determining unit, an object display setting unit, and a video distribution unit. The storage unit stores video information including a plurality of frame images constituting the town guide video, and stores an object through which direct access to a website for providing contents regarding the specific facility can be obtained. The frame image acquisition unit acquires, as a frame image for superimposition display of the object, a frame image in which the specific facility is displayed from among the plurality of frame images. The object display position determining unit determines the display position of the object with respect to the specific facility displayed in the acquired frame image. The object display setting unit performs superimposition display of the object at the determined display position of the object. The video distribution unit distributes, to the user's terminal, an advertisement information-provided town guide video obtained by superimposition display of the object on the town guide information.
