Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present disclosure are a video downloading method and apparatus, a video transmission method and apparatus, a terminal device, a server and a medium. The video downloading method comprises: acquiring a buffer length, the buffer length comprising at least one of the following: a first current buffer length and a first target buffer length of first video data corresponding to a target view angle in a panoramic video, and a second current buffer length and a second target buffer length of second video data corresponding to a user view angle; generating, according to the buffer length, a video data downloading request for downloading target video data associated with at least one of the first video data or the second video data in the panoramic video stored in a server; and sending the video data downloading request to the server, and downloading the target video data according to the received request result returned by the server for the video data downloading request.
