Abstract:
The present application relates to a video encoding method and apparatus, and a computer-readable storage medium and a computer device. The method comprises: acquiring a current video frame to be encoded and an initial quantization parameter; calculating first historical complexity, corresponding to the current video frame, of a first time granularity; acquiring the current second available code rate of a second time granularity and the current first available code rate of the first time granularity; based on the second available code rate and the first available code rate and according to the complexity of the current video frame and the first historical complexity, carrying out code rate adjustment between the second available code rate and the first available code rate; updating the initial quantization parameter according to the adjusted second available code rate to obtain the current quantization parameter; and encoding the current video frame according to the current quantization parameter. The solution provided in the present application can realize code rate control on a coarser time granularity, thereby realizing code rate allocation in a larger time range, making the code rate allocation more uniform and greatly improving the encoding quality.
