Abstract:

Disclosed are a video encoding method, an apparatus, a device, and a storage medium, belonging to the field of multimedia technology. The method comprises: determining N image frames on an image frame sequence of a video according to a sliding window; acquiring a motion amplitude difference value of each image frame in the sliding window; updating a static variable according to the motion amplitude difference value of each image frame in the sliding window, the static variable being used for representing the number of determined continuous static image frames; and when the updated static variable is not less than a first pre-set threshold value, encoding an image frame to be encoded into an I-frame. The present application provides a method for determining whether a video is in a static scene for a long time, and the video is encoded into an I-frame when it is determined that the video is in the static scene for a long time, thereby avoiding the insertion of too many P-frames, not only improving the quality of encoding, but also improving the efficiency of encoding.
