Abstract:
A video decoding method is disclosed in the present specification. The video decoding method includes: a step for determining whether to perform filtering on the boundary of a current block; a step for determining the filtering strength for the boundary of the current block and the number of samples to be used for the filtering; and a step for filtering on the boundary of the current block on the basis of the filtering strength and the number of samples to be used for the filtering, wherein the number of samples to be used for the filtering may be determined on the basis of the size of the current block.
