Abstract:
Disclosed is a video monitoring method, comprising: using a monitoring apparatus to monitor each monitored area; when a person appears in the monitored area, storing a monitoring video image of the monitored area since the person appears until no one appears; while storing the monitoring video image, sending prompt information to a terminal apparatus for giving a notification that a person appears in the monitored area, and inquiring whether the terminal apparatus needs to check the monitoring video image; and when a user of the terminal apparatus needs to check the monitoring video image, transmitting the stored monitoring video image to the terminal apparatus. Further provided in the present invention are a video monitoring system and a monitoring device. According to the present invention, in a video monitoring process, waste of data traffic of a user, and inconvenience for the user to check due to an over-high storage capacity can be prevented.
